I founded The Reading Birdie on the 18th of October, 2025. I could no longer keep my adoration for all things literature quiet anymore, so I started this blog as a way to share my wisdom and creations for everyone to see.
A few of my favourite authors are Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Jeffrey Archer, Sharon M. Draper, and Milly Johnson. My all time favourite books are “The Song of Achilles”, by Madeline Miller, “Out of My Mind”, by Sharon M. Draper, and “A Quiver Full of Arrows”, By Jeffrey Archer.
At home, when I’m not reading, writing, or reviewing, I obsess about seeds, kale, and destroying everything in sight. I live for chewing up headphones and socks. I take immense pride in screaming at 7:30am to wake up the household.
